TaGCycle indoor classes are our signature selection of interval-based workouts designed to help you Improve!

Created from our decades of years on the bike and Olympic training experience, each week the workouts are made to improve your fitness and develop specific physiological systems. They will prepare you for the demands of cycling and your other favourite sports.

Our Class Philosophy: Training is hard but let’s make it fun.

All our workouts are wattage based. Watts are a measure of power generated by force (strength & gearing) x leg speed (cadence). The class is tailored to your individual needs determined by a power step test to measure Maximum Aerobic Power (MAP). 

The MAP test is to determine numbers that apply to you personally, the goal being to improve your power to weight ratio across all zones including FTP, max power and increase your overall fitness. Riders have seen improvements of over 30% in 12 weeks with our programs.

    TaGCycle™ 60 minute

    Designed to accelerate your cycling level and help you achieve your goals, whether that is an improved Fondo, tackling a big Stage Event, a Mass Charity Ride or to ride with more experienced friends. It may simply be to move up the Strava rankings on a favourite route! 60 minutes includes a 15-18 min warm-up and technical drills, the workout intervals portion will be the remainder, and is made up of intervals that follow a progressive format and periodized structure. The intervals are designed to address your needs for development in cycling specific zones and technique. The MAP test is offered a number of times yearly, or can be booked separately. One TaGCycle class can be used as an MAP Test in your package.

  • waterbottle - Tag Cycle Powerhouse is a longer harder spin class

    TaGCycle™ Powerhouse

    Powerhouse is designed to be a more advanced ride. Always 75 to 90 mins. We will still touch on all systems throughout the program. There will be long sustained sets working FTP and lots of Lactate Threshold intervals. Top end systems will also get work. Powerhouse will challenge you to a harder session than others in our programming

  • TaGCycleZ2 Social Ride

    The format is designed to learn and enjoy a base building ride ride whilst in a social environment . These rides don’t have to be lonely in the indoor season. This is an important part of your athletic development to enjoy and develop the ability to improve. Low stress and fun. All levels. Measured by heart rate/power and perceived effort. Learn the difference!

    March 11 - April 15

    We want to help you achieve your best mountain bike season ever!

    Are you preparing for Sea to Sky style events or of cleaning your nemesis technical trail? Maybe keeping up with your MTB-fit friends, we can help make that a reality.

    Each class has a warm up. Tech work for pedal stroke and efficiency, followed by the workout..

    There is a specific focus each class training in zones that will make you a powerhouse on the trails. Practice using visualizations of the unique characteristics of our terrain and local knowledge to give you a jump start on your outdoor riding season.

  • Tag Cycle endurance class in TaG Cycling Studio North Vancouver

    TaGCycle™ Endurance 75 and 90 Minute

    Classes over 60 minutes are designed for cyclists with some history on the bike so an increase in duration can be a benefit to training. This longer session will help you to develop more efficiency and to work on increasing the workload for your high end endurance and FTP. Highly recommended for riders looking for effective training to take next steps or for race goals and personal bests . These classes are geared towards those wanting a bit more challenge and are structured by a periodized plan.

  • TaG Cycling Cafe is a shorter 45min indoor cycling class

    TaGCycle™ Quickie – 40 min

    A shorter warmup and reduced sets of a TaGCycle Workout. Great for time constrained or getting used to indoor cycling as a training tool. TBA

    Book Your Open Studio Time

    Open studio. Single or Group. You can use our workout or if you have a coaching plan, bring your own .You can also ride in our studio to a TaG video workout. Times available start in October.

  • Core and Spin Class instuctor performs core exercise at TaG Cycling Studio in North Vancouver

    TaGCycle + Strength – 60min

    Under Construction.

    This class combines a challenging 30 minute bike workout with functional core workout and stretch. Specifically designed to strengthen and mobilize your body.

    A great supplementary class to complete your cycling development. Starts October
