Leah Guloien has been a competitive (Cat 1) road cyclist since 2007, and been riding a bike for the past 12 years. Leah was introduced to the cycling by her father who was an avid cyclist. She soon fell in love with the sport
Starting as a rower at Simon Fraser University,Leah transitioned into triathlon, mountain biking, running and finally road cycling and racing.
Racing at the National and International level, she competed in National Team at the Tour of Flanders, Ladies Holland Tour, and Women’s Route de France to name a few.
Leah raced professionally on the US women’s cycling team, Colavita, for two years, and is currently racing with, Trek Redtruck. This keeps her closer to home and enables her to give back t the sport by helping some of the local female riders. .
Graduating from Simon Fraser University in 2007with a BSc in Kinesiology and an Active Health and Fitness Certificate, Leah has attained other certificates and modules including Functional Movement and Screening (FMS) certificate, BCRPA Weight Training Module, NCCP Level 1 Coaching, Shoulder Stability Module, Lower Back/Core Rehabilitation Module and Olympic Weight Lifting Module.
She managed the Cycling Division at Catalyst Kinetics Group, is a personal trainer and rehabilitation therapist.
